Program Overview

The UCF Full-Time PMBA is a cohort-based, limited enrollment program that allows professionals from a variety of organizations and industries to come together and challenge their intellect, enhance their capabilities and broaden their perspectives while growing their professional network.

The program’s innovative curriculum equips program participants with the analytical tools, latest business techniques and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills needed to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace. The UCF Full-Time PMBA seamlessly integrates the students’ professional experience allowing them to immediately apply newly-acquired skills and knowledge to their job. The PMBA faculty share their expertise and provide insights on real-world business issues use consultative teaching approaches combining lecture, case studies, discussion forums and presentations to maximize learning.

Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab

In-depth financial markets research and analysis is incorporated into the UCF PMBA curriculum through the use of its state-of-the-art Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab. Students access real-time financial markets data, news and analytics through the Bloomberg Professional service (Bloomberg terminals). Use of the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab is available to the student while enrolled in the PMBA program. Students are also able to capitalize on the use of the Bloomberg Professional service by completing Bloomberg’s self-administered Bloomberg Essentials Online Training Program and earn an Acknowledgement of Completion (previously Bloomberg Certification).

Executive Mentoring Program

Included with the UCF Full-Time MBA is the Executive Mentoring Program. The program was designed to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and expertise in our community through connecting our graduate business students with UCF alumni and key business influencers to assist with career development and potential realization.

Students who choose to participate in the Executive Mentoring Program will be matched with a volunteer mentor for the purpose of professional growth and career guidance. The match is based on a combination of factors including job function, industry and career goals.

Program Schedule

All classes for the UCF Full-Time PMBA are held at the UCF Downtown campus. Classes will be taught over 16 weeks in fall and spring terms, and 12 weeks in the summer term. Classes in fall and spring meet:

Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Who Should Apply

The Full-Time PMBA is a daytime program offered each fall term and can be completed in 9 to 12 months. This fast-paced program is designed for:

  • Highly motivated individuals with a bachelors and one to three years of professional work experience.
  • Individuals with an earned graduate degree.
  • Students currently enrolled in a graduate program.

*The Full-Time PMBA is designed to allow students with completed graduate coursework to transfer up to 9 credit hours toward their MBA electives, allowing them to complete the program in as little as 9 months. All transfer coursework is approved on a course-by-course basis. Students in this program complete 15 hours of required coursework in the fall term, 15 hours of required coursework in the spring term, and 9 hours of elective coursework in the summer.

The UCF Full-Time PMBA is a market-rate program with an investment of $39,000 which includes 39 credit hours, parking, laptop, financial calculator, use of Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab, graduate and orientation events, and lifetime membership to Alumni Association.

*Approved transfer coursework will reduce the total tuition based on the number of credit hours transferred.
