UCF’s Management Development Program developed by Dr. Christopher Leo is designed for managers and aspiring managers who are looking to brush up on their skills. In this program, you will explore current management perspectives and walk away with the tools and techniques that you need to succeed as a manager. Best practices and resources will be reviewed to help you learn how to develop and lead high-performing teams, engage and motivate your team members, and create a collaborative and effective working environment. Instructor

 

Christopher Leo, D.B.A. , serves as a Lecturer in UCF’s College of Business Administration. He has taught several courses under the umbrella of “management” that include but are not limited to; strategic management, human resource management, social entrepreneurship, and more recently a business technology course housed under UCF’s newest major, Integrated Business. He completed his doctorate in business administration from the University of Florida and received his Master’s in Management degree at UCF.

Outside of teaching in UCF’s College of Business, Dr. Leo performs consulting work for small & midsize firms and has extensive experience as a corporate trainer. He has served as a strategy consultant for Hard Rock Hotel Café, RedCoach, and FreshLine Illustrations and has run multiple corporate training sessions for DRS Technologies, Orange County Clerk of the Courts, the City of Orlando Majors Executive Team, and OCCC Parks and Recreation. He started his career in hospitality, working in his family’s Italian restaurant and helped run the business until they sold it 2011.
