Biography

Shelley Maccini teaches Data Driven Decision Making with the Integrated Business program.

Throughout her professional career, Ms. Maccini has worked in a variety of organizations from small businesses to large corporations, including Hilton Worldwide and Disney. She also spent time in the public sector at the both the federal and county level, and served as Executive Director of Experience Kissimmee, the Destination Marketing Organization for Osceola County. Areas of specialization include strategic planning, marketing, research, and data analysis.

Ms. Maccini earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of New Hampshire and a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University, in addition to a Masters of Business Administration from The University of Central Florida. Previously, she has taught classes in Marketing Communications and in Excel skills.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Maccini is currently developing a project in engagement marketing for the sports and tourism industries, and recently took the project through a local tech accelerator. In her free time, Ms. Maccini enjoys traveling with her family, and attending their sports competitions and music events.
