Dane P. Blevins is an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Central Florida. His research interests span a diverse range of topics and include areas such as corporate governance, entrepreneurship, gender, initial public offerings, methodological issues, new ventures, organizational reputation and signaling theory. His work appears in journals such as Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice, Organizational Research Methods, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal and Strategic Organization among others.

Before joining academia, he worked in the investment banking industry. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas, his MBA from North Carolina State University and his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University.
