Biography

Dr. Steven Hornik is a faculty member of the Kenneth Dixon School of Accounting at the University of Central Florida, College of Business. He teaches Accounting Information Systems and his research interests include the effectiveness of technology-mediated learning for training and higher education and the social implications of technology. Dr. Hornik has published in several journals including Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Organizational End User Computing, IEEE Transactions on Professional Communication, Journal of Information Systems, and Issues in Accounting Education, among others. Dr. Hornik has received grants for his work with virtual world education from the University of Central Florida and U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Acquisition Center.
