Biography
Dr. Robin W. Roberts serves as the Al and Nancy Burnett Eminent Scholar Chair in Accounting and Pegasus Professor at the University of Central Florida (UCF). His research interests focus on accounting and business ethics, regulation, and social responsibility. He has published over 60 refereed journal articles in journals including Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, Accounting Forum, Accounting, Organizations & Society, Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Behavioral Research in Accounting, Business Ethics Quarterly, Contemporary Accounting Research, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Business Ethics, and Journal of Business, Finance and Accounting.
Dr. Roberts served 10 years on the Executive Council of the Center for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR), which is housed at the University of St. Andrews. He is an editorial board member for several academic journals and is past editor of Accounting and the Public Interest. In 2018, Dr. Roberts received the AAA Public Interest Section Accounting Exemplar Award for his notable contributions to professionalism and ethics in accounting education and research.
