Biography

Dr. Maira Ezerins is an Assistant Professor and consultant working to enhance the well-being and efficiency of people and organizations.
Their research examines a changing workforce and the future of work. Their areas of expertise include neurodiversity, workplace relationships, technology, and occupational health and safety. They have published in premier academic journals, including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Business and Psychology. Additionally, they serve on the editorial board for the Journal of Organizational Behavior and are an ad hoc reviewer for Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology. Their work has been featured in popular press outlets such as CNN, BBC News, and Harvard Business Review.
Dr. Ezerins teaches several courses on organizational behavior and human resources to undergraduate and graduate students. In addition to their academic role, they have consulted with several Fortune 500 and multinational organizations and co-founded a consulting company dedicated to creating inclusive and data-driven workplace solutions.
Dr. Ezerins holds a Ph.D. in Management with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the University of Arkansas. They also earned a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and Human Resources and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Appalachian State University.
