Biography

Laura Bollier is founder and executive advisor of Bollier Advisory, providing interim executive leadership and executive advisory services to consumer retail and brand companies navigating growth, transformation and operational change. She currently collaborates with Columbus Consulting International on merchandising and commercial transformation initiatives for global consumer brands, drawing on more than 25 years of experience building and scaling consumer businesses across DTC, wholesale, and retail channels.

Laura began her retail career in 1999 with Macy’s, working her way up through merchandising and buying roles at Lord & Taylor, VF Corporation (Nautica and Kipling), and Coach before joining Spanx in 2011. Over a decade at Spanx, she partnered closely with founder Sara Blakely as Vice President of Global Merchandising, helping scale the brand to
a $1 billion valuation and majority investment by Blackstone. In 2021, she was appointed the first female CEO of VENUS Fashion, the Otto Group-owned women’s apparel brand, where she led a multi-year enterprise-wide transformation across brand, product, digital and organizational structure, expanding the business beyond DTC into wholesale channels and online marketplaces before guiding the company through a successful sale and ownership transition in 2025.

Laura currently serves on the Barry S. Miller College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida and is a member of YPO and the Women in Retail Leadership Circle. She and her family own franchise businesses in multiple states, where she serves as a strategic advisor, helping drive growth, operational excellence and long-term business
strategy.

Laura was inducted into the UCF’s College of Business Hall of Fame in 2026 and was named one of Jacksonville’s Top 25 CEOs by Key Executives in 2024.

Laura began her career in South Florida before relocating to New York City, where she spent a decade building her merchandising career and started her family. She graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance. She resides in Jacksonville, Florida, with her husband, two teenage daughters and two dogs.
