Biography
Dr. Mullally is an Associate Professor of Finance in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. Prior to joining UCF, Dr. Mullally served as an Assistant Professor of Finance for three years in the Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama. He received his Ph.D. and MS degrees in Finance from Georgia State University in Atlanta and earned his BS in Mathematics Education from UCF.
Dr. Mullally’s research interests are in the areas of institutional investors, financial markets and behavioral finance. His original research has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and the Journal of Banking and Finance. It has also been featured in publications such as Bloomberg, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and the Financial Times BoardIQ. Dr. Mullally’s research has been presented at prestigious conferences, such as the Western Finance Association meetings, the American Finance Association meetings, and the China International Conference in Finance. Dr. Mullally has also been recognized for his teaching. He received the MBA Faculty Excellence as well as the untenured tenure track Instructional Excellence Awards at the University of Alabama.
Prior to getting his Ph.D., Dr. Mullally taught high school mathematics and coached basketball in Jacksonville, Florida.
