Biography

Jim Adamczyk is senior executive vice president and chief strategy officer for FAIRWINDS. Headquartered in Orlando, FL and serving members around the world, FAIRWINDS has more than $5 billion in assets and 600 employees. With a mission of changing members’ lives on the journey to Financial Freedom, Jim is committed to providing solutions that help members to save more, eliminate debt, build wealth, and live generously.

Jim began his career with FAIRWINDS Credit Union in 2003. While studying for his degree at the University of Central Florida, he worked as an intern in the FAIRWINDS’ lending department and quickly moved up within the organization.

Jim currently serves on the University of Central Florida Foundation Board of Directors, the University of Central Florida College of Business Dean’s Advisory Board, Heart of Florida United Way Board, Orland Economic Partnership (OEP) board, and is a director for the FAIRWINDS Foundation. He is the past chair of the Seminole County Chamber and past chair of the audit board for the City of Orlando.
Jim was inducted in the University of Central Florida’s prestigious College of Business Hall of Fame in 2023. He was named one of Orlando Business Journal’s 2025 “Most Influential Leaders” and was previously recognized in the “Top 40 Under 40.”

Raised in Central Florida, Jim received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida. He resides in the Orlando area with his family.
