Gish earned his Ph.D. in Management from the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business before joining the Department of Management faculty at UCF as an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship. His research focuses on entrepreneur behavior including how entrepreneurs decide to found new ventures and make critical business decisions. Gish founded multiple businesses with successful exits and now invests in other founders and their entrepreneurial ventures. He has also served as research director and academic advisor to angel investing groups and mentored many entrepreneurs during the early stages of venture development and implementation.
Gish’s research has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice.
