Biography
Dr. Jake Rose is the Kenneth G. Dixon Eminent Scholar Chair and Professor of Accounting. His research examines the intersections of accounting, analytics, artificial intelligence, neuroscience and judgment. Dr. Rose conducts experimental and neurophysiological research that examines how to improve data analyses, expertise development, and judgment in the accounting profession and in business. He teaches and designs courses primarily in the areas of Accounting Information Systems, Accounting Analytics, and Accounting Research.
He is recognized as the world’s leading experimental researcher in accounting systems by the BYU Accounting Research rankings. His research has appeared in journals such as Accounting, Organizations and Society; The Accounting Review; Behavioral Research in Accounting; The Journal of Information Systems; Management Accounting Research; Journal of Business Ethics; and Nature-Scientific Reports. He has served as an editor for the Journal of Information Systems and on several editorial boards.
