Biography

Dr. David Klock has a been dean of the College of Business at FIU, UAB and Cal Poly Pomona. He has also held faculty positions at Virginia Tech, University of Florida, Texas Tech and the University of Central Florida. He was professor and chair of the Department of Finance at UCF. Between his time as a faculty member and his tenure as a dean, he served for 15 years as president, chief executive officer and then chairman of CompBenefits Corporation (sold to Humana in 2006). Under his tenure, the CompBenefits leadership team grew revenue from under $20 million to more than $350 million.
