Biography
Dr. Joseph is a professor in the Management Department at the University of Central Florida. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, her Master’s from Texas A&M University, and her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. Her research examines emotional intelligence and emotions in the workplace as they relate to leadership, performance and training. Her work has appeared in the top management and applied psychology journals, including Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Psychological Bulletin and Personnel Psychology. Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Business Insider, Financial Times and other popular press outlets. She also regularly gives talks on emotional intelligence and facilitates organizational workshops on emotional intelligence.
