Professor, Department of Economics
For over 14 years, Professor Uluc Aysun has been a guiding force in the Department of Economics, blending rigorous research with a passion for student growth. Specializing in international macroeconomics, innovation, and economic forecasting, his work has earned prestigious fellowships and recognition from institutions like the Bank of International Settlements and the Bank of Jamaica. But what truly drives him is witnessing students evolve from uncertain freshmen to thriving professionals. Whether he’s on the soccer pitch, spending time with his family (including his triplets), or perfecting his homemade dolma, he brings energy, curiosity, and care to everything he does, especially in encouraging Business Knights to dive into real-world experience early and often.
