Faculty Spotlight: Denise McFadden

What do you love about what you do? One of the most gratifying parts of my job is being able to witness the success of students as they navigate their job search endeavors. Seeing  their efforts, particularly when they secure interviews or secure their first professional positions, gives me a sense of fulfillment.

What do you find most exciting and rewarding about your field of study? The most exciting and rewarding aspect of my career path is witnessing the transformation and growth of students throughout their career searches. It’s thrilling to see them discover their potential, overcome obstacles, and ultimately achieve their professional goals. Guiding them through this journey and witnessing their success is incredibly fulfilling, knowing that the college has played a part in shaping their futures.

When you’re not in the classroom, what can we find you doing? Somewhere under the sun! Usually beach, pool or ocean fishing.

What is your favorite UCF memory? Being Faculty Member of the Game and being able to be on the sideline and feel the energy of the football team and fans!
