The Bloomberg Essentials Online Training Program is an eight course program designed to provide UCF students with an introduction to the Bloomberg Professional Service. (usually finance and real estate majors)
In order to earn an Acknowledgement of Completion (4 core courses and 1 course in any one of the four asset class designations), users must take the Core Exam along with any one of the Market Sector Exams and earn a grade of 75% or better on each of the exams. You may retake each exam one time.
Users can complete all 5 (1 Core and 4 Market Sector) exams if they would like to receive an acknowledgement document for each of the four Market Sectors.

The Bloomberg Terminal
The Bloomberg Terminal is a system provided by Bloomberg L.P. that enables professionals in finance and other industries to access the Bloomberg Professional service through which users can monitor and analyze real-time financial data. The system also provides news, price quotes, and messaging across its proprietary secure network.
Bloomberg terminals provide students with an experience in using real time data for financial research in the following areas: equity securities, fixed income securities, hybrid securities, commodities and FOREX.
The system also provides a job posting feature available exclusively to Bloomberg terminal users. Most large financial firms have subscriptions to the Bloomberg Professional Service. There are about 300 Bloomberg terminals in central Florida, 1,000 in south Florida, and 3,100 in the state. Worldwide, there are 310,000 terminals.
