U.S. News & World Report has released their annual assessment of colleges for 2016, and for the first time in its history, the UCF College of Business (#UCFBusiness) made the list.
The undergraduate business program was ranked #131 in the United States.
Rankings were based on peer assessment surveys. To appear on these surveys, undergraduate business programs must be accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
In addition, the University of Central Florida was ranked #13 in the new category of “Most Innovative School,” putting it among the ranks of Georgia Tech and the University of Southern California.
College presidents, provosts and admissions deans were surveyed to determine who was making the most innovative improvements in curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or facilities.
