After working in industry for 18 years in various finance and accounting positions, I decided to make a career change and went into consulting and teaching. I started
teaching at UCF in 2001. I also volunteer my business management and financial skills to charitable organizations and continue to consult. I presently serve on the Board of Directors of two nonprofit organizations. I enjoy teaching both financial and managerial accounting.
If you visit my office you will notice I love animals from all the pictures on my walls. I have a golden retriever, three cats and a guinea pig, all rescued animals.
My interests (besides accounting of course) are performing music on various instruments but primarily the Mountain Dulcimer, computers, sewing, and camping in an Airstream RV.
