Business is all about getting to the one: the one who gets the job…the one who lands the client…the one who wins the bid…the one who gets the promotion. UCF College of Business provides students with the building blocks, resources and opportunities to help them get to the one.
Our students are:
- Risk takers who are comfortable getting out of their comfort zones
- Effective communicators and collaborators
- Data-driven decision makers who understand how to collect, analyze and use data in real time to make decisions
- Problem solvers
We are providing students with experiences in and out of the classroom that contribute to a unique college culture. From innovative instructional and participatory programs to more than 20 clubs and organizations, students can engage in a variety of experiences to prepare them to thrive in the marketplace.
The UCF College of Business is committed to helping students write their success story in business. As Central Florida’s largest provider of talent, UCF is the cornerstone of Orlando’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. From unique business competitions like The JOUST to startup spaces like the UCF Blackstone LaunchPad, students have access to services and opportunities to acquire and perfect the skills of an entrepreneur. They can even launch their own business before they graduate.
Whether in the classroom or delivering a talk at the Dean’s Speaker Series, faculty members are engaged in the latest research and program development to bring the next generation of business leaders to market. In addition, UCF College of Business alumni are leading businesses throughout the world and often return to share their experiences and knowledge. Each week UCF College of Business hosts business and community leaders and alumni in The EXCHANGE, a 120-seat idea room, to share TED Talk-like discussions about their career paths with students.
