Biography

Jennifer Morin, MBA, PMP, is an Associate Instructor in the Integrated Business Program at UCF, She teaches courses in Project Management and Managing Small Business Finance. She enjoys teaching in IB’s innovative flipped classroom format with a focus on student soft-skill development and learning outcome achievement through highly interactive and applied learning experiences. Morin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) and an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida – GO KNIGHTS! She is also a certified project management professional (PMP).

Morin has taught for more than eight years in a wide variety of business disciplines, including management, business communications, entrepreneurship, small business accounting, finance, PC applications (MS Office) and success strategies. Her program and project management experience includes managing operations for FIT’s multi-million dollar online learning business programs to include oversight of 60+ adjunct faculty and course developers, 40+ online courses and support of 800+ students. Additionally, she managed FIT assessment efforts for an entire college (psychology) and led administrative support for FIT’s PMI, IACB and SACSCOC accreditation projects in adherence to high quality educational standards. She also has many years of experience as an account analyst and technician in college student finance offices and college non-profit entities.

She is an academic consultant, partnering with higher education industry leaders as a curriculum/course/content developer for both student and instructor resource materials across a wide variety of business disciplines, including project management, management, accounting, finance, organizational behavior, human resource management, entrepreneurship, marketing and quality management. Some of her volunteer interests include serving on a non-profit board for a community orchestra in which she plays cello and coordinating events and working with children at the elementary school her daughter and son attend nearby her family’s beachside home.

Morin has a true passion for education but also a talent for successfully managing projects and leading people. She is a champion of student success and would enjoy mentoring students in the areas of motivation, goal-setting, school/life balance, experiential learning via internship/volunteer/work activities, project management, career/professional development, relationship management, business communications and resume development.
