Jason Schwebke is a doctoral candidate in the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting at the University of Central Florida, expecting to complete his Ph.D. in the summer of 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Accounting Science with a tax concentration from Northern Illinois University. Prior to joining the doctoral program in 2016, Jason held positions in insurance, operations and management. He is also an Enrolled Agent, an IRS-awarded credential for tax practitioners.
Jason currently teaches undergraduate tax. His research interests focus on a broad range of topics related to individual and corporate taxation, including manager/individual/investor decision-making related to tax, policy issues related to tax and ethical issues related to tax. His work has been published in the Journal of the American Taxation Association.
Jason is an avid sports fan—particularly basketball, football, baseball and golf—and enjoys traveling to new places.
