Jared Allen is a second year PhD student in the Management department at UCF. After spending more than 10 years building and running businesses, he decided to take his love of learning and teaching and apply to PhD programs. His research interests are in the field of entrepreneurship, specifically the psychology of entrepreneurship. He is interested in why/how entrepreneurs rebound from failure and how individual differences can account for the effects of failure on future venture outcomes. His dream is to work for a top research university and make significant contributions to both the theory and practice of entrepreneurship.
