With more than 15 years of combined experience in human resources, recruiting, training, and career development, Cheryl brings a wealth of knowledge and professional insights to the Employer Relations Team where she assists business students on a daily basis with searching for internships as well as providing a deep understanding on how to match their career goals with open opportunities. Prior to joining UCF, Cheryl had an accomplished career in human resources and management consulting, specializing in recruiting, staff development and executive coaching. In addition to this role, she worked diligently with businesses throughout Central Florida to assess their organizational needs and provide effective solutions in the areas of career transition and professional development.

Cheryl is a Certified Career Transition Consultant and holds a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Development and Communications from Rollins College. Her professional organization memberships include: Association for Talent Development Central Florida Chapter, National Society of Human Resource Management and Greater Orlando Society of Human Resource Management.
