Dr. Carl Blencke started his career as Principle Managing Partner at Strickland and Associates in Atlanta. Since then, he has held many different positions from being an Adjunct Instructor at Gwinnett Technical College (1997-2003) to his current position as Instructor – Department of Management at the University of Central Florida. With more than 12 years of classroom experience in post secondary environments and 25+ years of a highly successful career in Marketing and Sales for Information Technology and Telecommunications companies, he was fortunate to join a company prior to the launch of their Initial Public Offering (IPO). Upon successful completion of that endeavor, he found himself enjoying his time in the classroom more than the business world and transitioned as an instructor first at Valdosta State University and for more than 10 years now at UCF where he completed his doctoral degree in 2013. He is the ideal professor to not only teach his students the ins and outs of the business world, but to also help guide them on their path to success.
