Bailey Bigelow is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Management at the University of Central Florida. Before coming to UCF, she received a M.S. in Management from the Lazaridis School of Business at Wilfrid Laurier University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Calgary.

Bailey’s work primarily focuses on the negative consequences workplace mistreatment has on the organization and its members. In particular, she is interested in understanding the impact of mistreatment on those who experience, enact, and observe it. Bailey’s work also explores how individuals respond to mistreatment and how employees and organizations can stop these negative behaviors. Her dissertation focuses on observer reactions to mistreatment and what motivates these responses. Bailey’s research has been published in Journal of Applied Psychology and Business Ethics Quarterly.
