Bio: My name is Kayla Chatman-Haggerty, and I am a graduate student at the University of Central Florida in the DeVos Sport Business Management Program, pursuing an MBA and a Master’s in Sport Business Management. I am also a current member of the University of Central Florida Women’s Soccer Team, where I continue to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and dedication both on and off the field. I am a former collegiate soccer player at Gonzaga University, earning honors such as the West Coast Conference All-Freshman Team and the team’s Newcomer of the Year award, and at the University of Mississippi, where I was recognized on the SEC Preseason Watch List and SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll. My athletic career has instilled in me a strong work ethic, effective time management, and the ability to excel under pressure. Professionally, I have gained valuable experience in marketing, fan engagement, and community relations through roles with Gonzaga University Athletics, University of Mississippi Athletics, and the Oxford Park Commission. Additionally, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring young athletes as a camp coach for the University of Mississippi Women’s Soccer program. I am passionate about creating meaningful connections between sports organizations and their communities, leveraging my creativity, leadership, and experience to foster lasting impact. I aspire to further develop my career in the sports industry.
