Biography

Richard recently retired from the corporate real estate group of Anheuser-Busch/InBev after 23 years with the company. He served as Vice President of both Busch Properties, Inc., and Busch Properties of Florida, Inc. In those roles, he was active in land development, asset management and disposition of property throughout the United States.

Richard has managed a number of development projects in the Central Florida region, including the SeaWorld interchange at I-4 and Central Florida Parkway. This was Florida’s first privately financed and constructed interstate highway interchange. He also managed the International Drive Extension, which completed International Drive from south of SeaWorld to State Road 535 near Disney.

Richard has taught in the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate at UCF as an adjunct since Spring 2010, and currently teaches Real Estate Development and Advanced Topics in Real Estate. He has an EMBA from UCF. He holds active licenses in Florida as a real estate broker, real estate instructor and professional engineer. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and vacationing in Colorado with his wife, Janet.
