Rebecca York is the Director of the Dr. P. Phillips Real Estate Institute at the University of Central Florida. York has an extensive background in business as a COO of a regional multi-disciplinary commercial real estate firm and a commercial real estate banker.
She has been a member of NAIOP, ULI, CREW and CCIM and has served on the NAIOP National Capital Markets III Forum (2007-2010) and the National CREW C-Suite Mentoring Program (2015). She also served on the Board of Directors of the Metro Orlando Home Builders Association and as VP of the Central Florida chapter of CCIM. Her training includes a JD in law use and legislation from the University of Wisconsin where she also served as intern to the Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. She has an MBA from Columbia University and she has completed the NAIOP Advanced Real Estate Finance Seminar, ULI Advanced Pro-Forma Modeling and the Harvard Negotiations Course. York has been an instructor at UCF at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
