Nadra Pencle is a Ph.D. candidate in the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting at the University of Central Florida. She is interested in research related to corporate social responsibility and sustainability, particularly from a managerial perspective. To investigate these areas of interest, she primarily applies behavioral and qualitative methodologies. At a general level, using psychological lenses, she studies how managerial accounting professionals make, or not make, sustainable decisions. In particular, her two-paper dissertation she focuses on integrating a relatively untapped theory into the accounting research stream and then applying that theory in a managerial decision-making context. Nadra has been awarded multiple fellowships and has presented her research nationally and internationally.
