Biography

Mireya Cortes is the manager of student services with the College’s Office of Graduate Programs at UCF Downtown. In this role, Mireya oversees the custom administrative and logistical student services for the professional and executive graduate programs including the Executive MBA international residency program. Mireya’s international background and experience allows her to foster confidence and passion for students who are unfamiliar with global travel and cultures.

Mireya has been a part of the UCF family for more than 20 years. Prior to her current role, she served as the international residency liaison for the College’s former executive education program. She also served as a support staff member for the Department of Economics and the previous Office of Career Connections.

Mireya has an undergraduate degree in Computing Management from her native country, Columbia. After relocating to the United States, Mireya earned two degrees from UCF – an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) with a minor in Mathematics followed by an MBA.
