Frank J. Tamberelli is a Lead Faculty member with the Integrated Business Program and he is responsible for the development and maintenance of two courses; Managing Small Business Finances and Small Business Development.
Dr. Tamberelli has a background in international banking and has managed global organizations in some of the country’s largest corporations. Tamberelli has also owned several successful small businesses and has been a college business instructor for more than twenty years. His practical experiences in business, combined with his teaching career, provide for a perfect fit in his role in the University of Central Florida, College of Business Administration. Tamberelli has immersed himself in the community and has become an active member of the UCF Orlando Small Business Development Center Advisory Board, the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce and the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Tamberelli is also involved in several non-profit fraternal organizations.
Prior to his role as a Lead Faculty member at UCF, Dr. Tamberelli served as the director of the small business center at Stanly Community College in Albemarle, NC and is the former director of the Adult Degree Program at the Charlotte campus of Belmont Abbey College. Before entering higher education in a full-time capacity, Tamberelli was the world-wide Vice President for sales and professional services for a system’s integration company. Beginning his career in banking and continuing into international banking with a Wall Street based foreign bank, Tamberelli has progressed in a series of promotional opportunities from the banking industry to hardware, software, and system’s integration technology companies.
Originally from New Jersey, Tamberelli is a product of the community college system having first earned an Associate Degree in Applied Sciences from Bergen Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree from William Paterson University, a Master of Business Administration Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Doctoral Degree in Community College Educational Leadership from Wingate University.
Dr. Tamberelli is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
